Out of the Loop

Well,

Lately, I've developed a slight obsession with two things.  Bowling and Fruit Roll Ups.  I don't think they have anything in common, but lately i've really been enjoying both.  I rolled a 208 at bowling last Sunday, which is my highest game ever.  Nice work.  I saw Monte Montgomery tonight at a bar called Martyr's here in Chicago.  He is probably the best guitar player I have ever seen, but his bass player was even cooler and should have stepped in for more solos.  Either way, you should check him out if you get the chance.  www.montemontgomery.com  Monte is originally from Texas, so his show was crawling with white trash.  There was one woman with spiked hair, a mullet in training, stone washed, tapered jeans standing front and center swaying and lip singing to every single song.  She kept offering Monte money to play songs.  I felt bad for Monte because that's probably going to be the girl waiting for him at his tour bus after the show.  At that point, I think i'd fire up another encore and roll the dice again.

A few times during the show, this man with a mickey mouse baseball jersey, mini-ponytail, black denim and stark white, velcro shoes kept creeping up on stage and placing mystery shots next to the band members.  So I'm talking with my friends and I'm like, awesome velcro shoes, well just then, this larger white trash woman leans to me and says “hey, that's my mother's boyfriend.”  Enough said.
