Caramel & Chocolate...Together In A Kiss!

I wouldn't say I dislike Hershey Kisses, but I don't exactly love them.  They were always that candy that hung out in my Easter basket until the very end, just hoping for someone to get bored and grab one.  It can be a real project to enjoy a few Kisses.  You know the drill...try to unwrap the foil without ripping it, decide whether to chomp away and let the chocolate lodge itself into the inner-workings of your teeth or to gently suck the kiss down to nothing, savoring the flavor while it turns your tongue a disgusting shade of brown.  Considering the size and satisfaction factor of a Kiss, I always found them to be a little too much work.

Granted, my Grandmother used to make these amazing peanut butter cookies with a Hershey Kiss on top, but those don't count, because there's no unwrapping involved, and combined with the peanut butter they make quite the winning team.

Well friends, that winning team just got their asses kicked.

Today I was introduced to the latest from Mr. Hershey...Hershey's Caramel Kisses.  If anyone out there was considering getting into illegal drugs, but was hesitant either due to their side effects, the fact that they're illegal, or the costs, these puppies are for you.  It wasn't even paired with a cookie, and I think it blew all other candy out of the water.

After the unwrapping procedure, they look just like a normal Kiss, but you can't judge a book by its cover -- and as soon as you bite into this morsel of ecstasy you'll know what I'm talking about. Uncanny. I'm still stuck, sitting here trying to figure out how they got the caramel inside.

I must go now, but do yourself a favor, and pick up some Caramel Kisses ASAP.  You will not be disappointed.

I find myself relating to your story quite well, I too, never much craved the original kiss. I found it to be boring, in fact I still have some left from this Easter. However, one night I was watching TV and I saw the caramel kiss commercial. "CARAMEL kiss???" I asked myself, "now there's a kiss I can get on board with!" The caramel kiss is PARADISE! It almost makes me glaze my seat.

those cookies with the kiss in the middle are good too.

did you ever put those marshmallow peeps in the microwave and watch them grow? i do that.

Try increasing the font size in your browser. The fonts are scalable and will change with your browser settings...
