I watched Love Actually last night before going out. It was enjoyable but I wouldn't chalk it up as “life changing” or “the best movie ever” as some of my friends have coined it. I didn't really dig the whole 3rd grader in love thing and although all the ladies out there are patiently waiting for a man to show up at their door with posterboards full of sweet nothings, don't forget that Peter Posterboard filmed one of the creepiest wedding videos ever. I liked how they tied everyone together, it was creative, but I felt like there was a few too many stories going on at once and I didn't know that in the weeks before Christmas it is necessary to become brutally honest with everyone in your life. Glad that I saved it for the rental phase.
I have to give serious props to Laura Linney though. 40 years old and definitely still getting it done. I find myself immensly attracted to her, and I think she is a very talented actress. She's slammin' in my book. Check her out in You Can Count On Me for another good one.
Went to the Leg Room last night and pretended to be a baller (great word). I figured out that velvet couches, expensive bottles of liquor, and Cristal aren't really my style, but good company is, and that's all that really matters.
