A Diamond In The Rough

I'm going to let you, the patrons of the weezle, in on a little secret.  If you are lucky enough to be located near a Honeybaked Ham store, get there as soon as possible for lunch.

Honeybaked Ham offers the greatest lunch deal around, and I promise you won't be disappointed.  I know what you're thinking...you don't feel like spiraled ham for lunch today.  I don't either.  Ever.  Unbeknownst to the casual lunch-goer, the Ham (not to be confused with my friend, Brian) has so much more to give than large, holiday sized meats.  I'm going to break down how to get it done at the Ham.

Upon entering the Ham you'll find yourself in front of the free sample cooler.  Help yourself to some turkey salad.  It's glorious.  Make your way to the lunch counter, it's located to the left of the large meats counter.  Peruse the lunch menu, although you're going to want to order the Turkey Classic sandwich, and why don't you go ahead and make it a boxed lunch while you're at it.  As soon as you place your order, your mom comes out from the back, and makes a sandwich for you just like she did on your first day of school.  Fresh slices of honeybaked turkey, crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, a healthy cut of cheese, mayo and some honey mustard no doubt, all on your choice of 6-7 homemade breads.  Mom wraps it up, gives it a loving slice, and nestles it into the beginnings of your boxed lunch.  Don't forget the pickle.  It really ties the box together.

Next, choose a side. Chips?  No, you don't want those.  This isn't Subway.  You want the pasta salad because it's absolutely UNREAL.  Even if you don't like pasta salad, you will like this pasta salad.  Your mom made it.  A cookie?  You betcha.  I'd say oatmeal raisin is the way to roll.  Don't forget about your drink.  Yep, it's part of the boxed lunch too.

Now, make your way to the counter to pay for your feast.  Don't sweat it though.  It costs about $6.  Yes friends, you read correctly.  $6.  Have them stamp your honeybaked card (your 6th sandwich is free baby) and be on your way.  If you're feeling good about yourself, pick up some pasta salad to bring home for the family.  They'll like it, and love you.

You just paid $6 for the best lunch in town...and it's baked in honey.

Do you have a location guide for this diamond?

Also, please feel free to comment on my blog. I won't give you a horrible nickname. I think you're cool. You'll at least get a nice one :-)
