Last week's Apprentice was excellent. Andy showed his true colors, and let everyone know why he's still around. Elizabeth failed miserably, and the cobra didn't even let her bring anyone back into the boardroom. The cobra is sneaky like that, and can strike without notice.
Not sure who Elizabeth was kidding in the cab when she said that everyone ganged up on her. Is it that hard for her to see how horrible she was? She let her opinions flip flop more than Trump's hair on a windy day. Props to Kevin for telling her to shut up. Couldn't have said it better myself. She kept him up late, he came up with some great ideas, and then she pissed all over them the next morning. She definitely deserved a nice warm glass of shut-the-hell-up.
Apex's advertisement was BRUTAL. I think I could make a better ad with my own camcorder and computer in one day, by myself. It was absolutely miserable. I've seen better PowerPoint presentations. Skillz put it best when he said it felt like he was watching an episode of the A-Team gone wrong. It was hard to watch. I was laughing out loud.
Maria needs to go. I can't deal with her hand gestures or haircut for much longer. Trump, can you hear me? Introduce her to the cobra ASAP. More sex appeal for a NYPD recruitment commercial? So glad Andy borrowed some of Kevin's warm shut-the-hell-up and served it to Maria. She got served.
Trump needs to cut it out with the scenes from his plane, or answering the phone in his limo. Come on Don, you're better than that. “Bill gets to go to the pageant because that's just one of the perks of working for me.” Stop yourself. Stick to introducing the task, without telling us how many billions of dollars the industry nets every year, and without a trumpet laden fanfare, and then fire someone, that's all we need you to do.
What is with the voice overs in the boardroom? You know what I'm talking about, when the camera leaves Trump, but Trump is still talking, and the sound of his voice is noticeably different. The comments are clearly added later, yet we get shots of people reacting to what he is saying. How does that work? What is really being said? I'd love to see all the uncut boardroom footage. DVD perhaps?
I only like a few of the remaining folks. Apparently they're throwing in some old recipients of the cobra this week with the hopes of stirring up some controversy. If they really want to mix it up, I think Donald should “hire” someone back onto the show. Give someone who got fired a chance to get back in the action. I'd love a little more Bradford in my life.
Maria, go play in traffic.
