Last week's Apprentice was excellent. Andy showed his true colors, and let everyone know why he's still around. Elizabeth failed miserably, and the cobra didn't even let her bring anyone back into the boardroom. The cobra is sneaky like that, and can strike without notice.
Not sure who Elizabeth was kidding in the cab when she said that everyone ganged up on her. Is it that hard for her to see how horrible she was? She let her opinions flip flop more than Trump's hair on a windy day. Props to Kevin for telling her to shut up. Couldn't have said it better myself. She kept him up late, he came up with some great ideas, and then she pissed all over them the next morning. She definitely deserved a nice warm glass of shut-the-hell-up.
Apex's advertisement was BRUTAL. I think I could make a better ad with my own camcorder and computer in one day, by myself. It was absolutely miserable. I've seen better PowerPoint presentations. Skillz put it best when he said it felt like he was watching an episode of the A-Team gone wrong. It was hard to watch. I was laughing out loud.
Maria needs to go. I can't deal with her hand gestures or haircut for much longer. Trump, can you hear me? Introduce her to the cobra ASAP. More sex appeal for a NYPD recruitment commercial? So glad Andy borrowed some of Kevin's warm shut-the-hell-up and served it to Maria. She got served.
Trump needs to cut it out with the scenes from his plane, or answering the phone in his limo. Come on Don, you're better than that. “Bill gets to go to the pageant because that's just one of the perks of working for me.” Stop yourself. Stick to introducing the task, without telling us how many billions of dollars the industry nets every year, and without a trumpet laden fanfare, and then fire someone, that's all we need you to do.
What is with the voice overs in the boardroom? You know what I'm talking about, when the camera leaves Trump, but Trump is still talking, and the sound of his voice is noticeably different. The comments are clearly added later, yet we get shots of people reacting to what he is saying. How does that work? What is really being said? I'd love to see all the uncut boardroom footage. DVD perhaps?
I only like a few of the remaining folks. Apparently they're throwing in some old recipients of the cobra this week with the hopes of stirring up some controversy. If they really want to mix it up, I think Donald should “hire” someone back onto the show. Give someone who got fired a chance to get back in the action. I'd love a little more Bradford in my life.
Maria, go play in traffic.

I know what you mean about the voiceovers.... it's the worst editing job ever, it sounds like a completely different person talking. And Maria talking about sex appeal made me throw up in my mouth a little.

Yes! I noticed the voice over for the first time this episode when all of a sudden there is a close-up of Elizabeth's face and Trump's voice dropped 2 octaves and sounded like he was reading straight from a script. heinous.
Even more heinous was the scene of Trump in his pathetically staged paper-signing meeting aboard his jet when he received the phone call announcing the winning team. he needs to get off of himself ASAP, it's starting to make me gag.
I think Mosaic had it in the bag from the start. Andy was so right on. Why on earth did Maria go buck-wild about the sex appeal thing and give Andy so much crap about his idea?? Was she not in the meeting when they specifically said that they wanted something that struck an emotional cord?? Maybe her obsessive blinking affects her hearing and she heard something like, "we want male strippers on the NYPD so make it real sexy." Even though Maria is a heinous bitch and I agree on the playing in traffic thing, I think her haircut is awesome.
Elizabeth deserved it, I knew she was out 20 minutes into the show.

Schrags,
Thanks for seeting up the wireless for me, I hope I will be a better participant on the block. I don't care what you say Maria is beautiful.

Maria...two words.
"She gone"
I seriously hope that Trump fires her in an equally suprising way as he struck Elizabeth with the Cobra this week, OUTSTANDING.
Although I'll have to watch the Apprentice on major tape delay this week (from Hawaii), I still can't wait and can only hope that Bradford comes back in a big way, I'd love to see Survivor meets the Apprentice whereby the 'castaways' get a chance to play for one spot back on either of the teams and continue their pursuit of the ultimate job interview, I wouldn't rule this out with Mark Burnett @ the helm.
Dick: You just noticed the voice overs? Have you been watching the show on mute with closed-captioning on, this has been going on since last season, and is just brutal.
he gone,

are people really condoning the butch haircut. seriously? as a man, i enjoy having sex with girls who resemble said gender. anyone woman who can go see Sal with confidence that he will use his freshly oiled #2 blade, should castrate herself.
mmm...i love mental pictures.

skillz: fortunately I didn't notice the voiceovers until this episode, don't know how I missed them if they've been this bad all along. had i noticed them earlier, it could have been grounds to maybe watch the boardroom on mute.
ham: dude, easy on the short haircuts. I know guys generally have a thing with long hair and don't get it when girls think that other girls' short hair is "cute." There was a time when my hair was as short as Maria's. It looked awesome, boys would have wanted to have sex with me if I did things like that, and never once did anyone question my gender (maybe it's the rack??). Rest assured that a barber never touched these locks with a #2 blade. And thankfully I didn't follow your advice and "castrate" myself. sick.

dick: when you had short hair, no one cared. ive seen the shirts you wear.
stop yourself,
HAM
p.s. ive also noticed that you currently dont have the short haircut. i wonder why? i think you should get the boy haircut and have your breasts removed, then we'll see how ya do.
p.p.s. why do girls want to always take over guy shit? all we want is sports, suits, beer, and $12 haircuts. thats it. you've pretty much taken over all of those things, but just pretend like you didnt. humor me.
finally,
goodbye

Ham: don't have the short haircut cause I wanted a change. Maybe once I grow it out and get bored with it, I'll cut it off again just for you :)
If I had my breasts removed, then guys wouldn't have anything to stare at/talk to when conversating with me. That would just be one more thing that I would be taking away from guys. travesty.
and I like my shirts, ass.

why don't you have one of those glasses of "shut the hell up" that you mentioned twice in the original post. overkill much?
# re: The A-Team Gone Wrong
11/2/2004 12:21 PM by
I can't, they're reserved for girls with bad haircuts, and people who think they're so above everything they can just make up their own words.

yeah, I agree with Dickman. How about you invent a new word to use in place of "warm glass of shut-the-hell-up?"
Thanks.
