I've noticed a strong correlation between George W. bumper stickers and Nascar bumper stickers.
You be the judge.

I don't think there is a lot of science to this, especially if you look at an electorate map and see that Bush was strong in the South and across the Midwest.

Have you see the new map of the US?
The states on the two coasts & Great Lakes states have joined with Canada to make the United States of Canada & the Mountain, central & southern states make up

schrags, this is quite the no-brainer.
another interesting thing about the electoral map is that if you look more closely at the states in which bush won, the counties surrounding more wealthy and developed cities supported Kerry. Sad that bush's re-election stems from the fact that there happen to be more backward, ignorant rednecks than people who know better.

wow. didn't mean to get all political there, we're just talking about bumper stickers here. i hate nascar and bush, support for your theory.

I've noticed a strong correlation between Kerry bumper stickers and piece of junk econobox cars with drivers who don't shower, don't wash their clothes, and would rather play hackey sack and smoke pot all day than actually do something to further their lives.
Wow, that really was fun... I guess making assinine correlations can be quite entertaining.
If you look at facts, instead of ignorant assumptions, you'll read the following facts:
55% of voters make $50,000 or more, of that, 56% supported Bush.
18% of voters make $100k or more, of that 60% supported Bush.
42% of voters have a college degree or better, of that 50% supported Bush.
Looking at those figures... how about I make a real "correlation":
There seems to be a correlation between Kerry supporters and people who make less than $50k a year and have no college education...

Excellent, excellent post, I love those correlations.

Yes, you're right, Bush did win Kentucky.

You guys, including the mystery "correlation maker" love to turn these into heated, argumentative discussions. I was merely pointing out the fact that a lot of Nascar fans liked Bush. I wasn't damning the man, campaigning for Kerry, trying to legalize pot, or looking to get in on a good hack circle.
Relax.
Should I take a shower today?

assinine correlator: with my very generalized jab at bush voters, obviously i was not trying to turn this into a major heated discussion with percentages, I save that for more serious political debates. for the love of god, the original post is talking about nascar bumper stickers. ease up. just out of curiosity, do you have the stats for people who have less than a high school education that voted for bush?
skillz: yes, bush did win KY. your attempted sting would have been more effective if i wasn't already painfully aware that the majority of the great bluegrass state are said "backward rednecks." i do have a special place in my heart for them, nonetheless.
schrags: you need to inform me when i need to do research before posting feedback on your blog. yikes.

My rhetoric makes it seem like I'm not joking around, but really I am... it just so happens that my jokes are a little more founded on facts rather than speculation, so they are as funny as they are thought provoking. I try to be a little lighter hearted at the end, but apparently it didn't work well. I'm not trying to flame anyone really, just trying to be inflammatory myself. I like getting people riled up. =)
I didn't actually research those stats for this post. Actually, there seems to be a lot of sentiment from Democrats that Bush won because of stupid hick rednecks in the south... which is simply not true, and I used the facts I posted above as support for that. I could go into why Bush really won, but that's outside the bounds of this simple blog entry.
Dickman: In regards to people with no h.s. education (only about 4% of the voter population) it's basically split 50/50 between Bush and Kerry. There really is no definitive education group that skews drastically towards one candidate or the other. Each group is fairly split down the middle.

Alright I have had enough of you Kerry supporters...Yeah let me guess Bush is an idiot...How many degrees do you have? Yeah bush has 2 degrees from yale.. So save your educational batnter for talk in the halls during your finals week in december, when you will inevitably be drinking a slurpy and eating fig newtons, touting how bullshit your next DeVry exam is...save it...Yeah right I know...Well I ask you, who thinks bush is an idiot, yeah you who are listening to Green Day "Dookie" on your ipod. Yeah kerrys got all the answers and hes the man (Hey kerry whats with the long face?). Apparently, you got all the answers as your driving around in your KIA Sedona trying to steer and eat your craver saver sack from White Castles, trying to blame anyonre in sight for gas prices...Dont blame Bush for your financial woes. Franky: if you're going to make fun of the education of others, it would be taken much more seriously if you didn't make multiple grammatical mistakes. if there had been ipods back when i was in middle school, I would have played the crap out of green day. dookie, what an album.
correlator: thanks again for the stats. interesting. I picked up on the lighthearted ending, wasn't taking you too seriously. it is a simple blog.

no more political commentary please. people turn into fags immediately. i find it hilarious how some people would defend to the death a person they do not know and does not know them. they research, they argue, they fight for someone that wouldnt care if they dropped dead tomorrow. all it takes is a small slanderous comment, and they're on a site like this wasting their time. these same people will gossip about their best friend behind their back, but you better not call Bush a dumbass. "he's the best president ever because Time magazine says so. here, i have all these numbers to show you." fuckin gay.
wake up, you have a life to live
