Due to a TiVo malfunction, I was only able to catch the last half hour of last week's Apprentice.  Luckily, Blonde and Kuz picked up the slack with fabulous re-caps before I started watching, so I don't really feel like I missed anything.

Wes started things off with a rookie mistake.  How could he not send Maria over to Apex?  If only he knew he was going to get to spend plenty of time with her later...in the taxi.

Ivana finally used her noggin for something other than formulas and pivot tables and actually came up with a good idea.  Go fit wheel.  I didn't get to see how dumb Jen looked, but judging from the descriptions of the other team members, and my two informers, she looked really dumb and couldn't comprehend the intricacies of "the wheel."  She got farmed off to busy work, and didn't hesitate to tell us how her exceptional skill set was being underused.  Get off yourself.  She's gotten on my nerves more and more with each task.

Things heated up with the other team as tempers started to fly.  Wes summed it up with this quote on the Apprentice website.  "When Maria flew into the studio on her broomstick, the whole attitude of the room changed."  Well said Wesley, I think I'm going to miss your subtle humor.

Maria was back to her blinking ways, and basically flushed her teams chances down the toilet.  I loved every second of it.  Did anyone notice the quadruple blink Maria pulled about halfway through the episode?  It blurred my TV screen.  I'll try to post a video capture in the coming days, it was unbelievable.

Sadly, I liked the way Kevin and Ivana worked together.  They seemed to gel nicely, and could possibly bring some heat in the coming tasks.

Thankfully, The Donald was able to cancel all his meetings for the day to get to the Levi's presentation.  We even got to see him do it live from his limo.  The presentations pretty much went as expected with the exception of Jen slime balling her way into all the credit.  I cringed when her Mr. Ed mouth smiled to take all the credit.  I know it's business, but come on, that just boils down to character.

In the boardroom, Trump fired two lethal shots with his six-shooter and killed a two headed monster.  He's been favoring his trusty six over the cobra lately.  I can only hope the cobra will return, and soon.

Wes had the best line of the night when he casually said..."and, I really would have liked my own cab."  Hopefully, they dropped Maria off at the asylum before taking Wes to his final destination.

In other news, I watched the E! True Hollywood Story on the Apprentice and found it tremendously disappointing.  Way too much Omarosa for me, and not enough show info.  They said the boardrooms really last for like 2.5 hours.  I think that's awesome, and would love to see those in their entirety.  Heidi is nasty, and I could have done without her completely.

Who does everyone think will win the Apprentice?  Let's make some predictions.
